About the album "HUEVOS"

When Curt Kirkwood received a fan letter from Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, he was inspired into a songwriting binge that eventually cumulated into the songs on Huevos. It was the Meat Puppets’ 5th studio release since their debut in '82 and around this time Kurt Cobain was still playing punk music in Fecal Matter. The album owes much of its influence to ZZ Top, but it is translated into the desert funkus style that made Meat Puppets a widely celebrated act to come from Arizona's punk scene. In the process of creating this website, I wanted to pay homage to an artist that carried over during my transitional years as I became a more open-minded music listener. One of them that really stuck for me was Meat Puppets and it all peaked when I witnessed this up close during a free gig at Waterfront Park. It's also about eggs, and breakfast, the most sacred and delicious meal of your day.

I was away from the internet for a few weeks and when I checked on my blog at some point, it was gone.
I thought maybe Blogspot reset everyone's blogroll for some reason, but it appears to only have happened to me.
